Our story
Church on Fire International (COFI) is a vibrant, culturally diverse, non-denominational Christian ministry committed to transforming lives and communities through the preaching and teaching of God’s undiluted Word and the demonstration of His love and power.
One assignment, many expressions
Under the leadership of Apostle Dr. David Philemon, COFI is raising believers who are established in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, equipped to fulfil their God-given purpose, and prepared to impact their world. From its International Headquarters in Cicero, Illinois, to its growing locations and ministry expressions, COFI carries one assignment: to bring people into the fullness of God’s purpose for their lives.
Our mandate
To wipe away tears from the faces of all mankind and bring humanity into God’s fullness for their lives through the preaching and teaching of God’s undiluted Word and the demonstration of His ultimate power.
Our vision
To make a positive impact in our communities through the preaching and teaching of God’s undiluted Word, while practically demonstrating God’s ultimate love and power through the apostolic and prophetic ministry gifts entrusted to us by God.

How we fulfil the mandate
Preaching and teaching the undiluted Word of God.
Creating an atmosphere where people can encounter the presence and power of God.
Raising spiritually mature believers who know their identity, purpose, and assignment.
Equipping believers for ministry, leadership, service, and kingdom impact.
Taking the Gospel beyond church walls through evangelism, missions, media, and community outreach.
Demonstrating the love of Christ in practical ways to individuals, families, and communities.
Our beliefs
Jesus Christ is at the centre of everything we do. We believe in the authority of the Holy Scriptures; one God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; salvation through faith in Jesus Christ; the ministry and power of the Holy Spirit; prayer; divine healing; the Great Commission; and the calling of every believer to live a life that reflects Christ and advances His Kingdom.
